Clutch cables are a high-efficiency design and the clutch inner cable fitting has a pull-off strength of 500+ pounds.
2-piece clutch cable kits fit 1987 and later 5- or 6-speed transmissions and are available in Stainless Steel braid with chrome fittings, Black Vinyl with chrome fittings or Black Vinyl with a black chrome handlebar fitting.
Black2-piece clutch cables include a black boot to cover the adjuster. Adjuster and
transmission fittings are chrome plated. Handlebar fitting is black
chrome plated.
2-piece clutch cables can make up to 80" total length.
1-piece clutch cable kits are specific for Big Twin or Sportster models and both types of kits are available in either Stainless Steel braid or Black Vinyl with chrome fittings.
1-piece clutch cables make up to 70" total length for Sportsters or 74" total length for Big Twins.
Use enclosed template to set inner cable free length (travel length) to factory specifications for most 2-piece clutch cable applications. 1-piece clutch cables will require the installer to use calipers or ruler to set free length.
